Is this only for insurance agents?

AEPWatch is built first for individual Medicare agents, but it is equally useful for multi-agent rosters, multi-state agencies, and FMO partners — anything from a single agent chasing three carrier appointments to an FMO tracking a hundred agents across ten carriers gets the same view. /customers shows how agencies of different sizes and an FMO partner use it day-to-day.

How does the AEP audit work?

The audit is the reconciliation that gets your roster ready for AEP opening on 2026-10-15 — every license, every carrier appointment, and every certification in one view, with anything expiring in the next 30 days flagged. It surfaces in the Dashboard tab of /workspace for authenticated users during August and September (the two-month readiness window). The audit history is also stored and returnable through /api/aep-audit/history once you are signed in.

What carriers are supported?

The onboarding dropdown lists the ten most common Medicare carriers — UnitedHealthcare, Humana, Aetna, CVS Health, Anthem, Cigna, Kaiser Permanente, WellCare, Centene, and Molina. That is not a hard ceiling: the carrier schema accepts any non-empty string, so regional carriers and newer entrants work the moment you type the name during /onboarding. Every carrier has the same appointment-expiration sweeps; nothing in the alerting logic is name-locked.

How is my data isolated?

Every read and write that touches the workspace is owner-scoped — example-secure routes enforce where: { userId: user.id } on every Prisma call, and there is no shared-roster view. An agency principal sees their roster, an FMO seat sees only its downline, and no one can cross-query another tenant’s roster. Admin tools are gated behind better-auth’s requireAdmin().

Is there a free tier?

There isn’t a long-running free plan, but the waitlist cohort runs free during launch — sign up through the waitlist form on / and you keep using AEPWatch with the plan that matches your cohort, no card required. Billing kicks in only when you confirm a paid plan at general availability. Three paid monthly tiers exist (Solo / Agency / FMO); each one is independent and you can move between them at the start of any cycle.
